Civil Ceremony
A private car and driver will pick you up from the resort to take you to the Town Hall. Upon arrival at the Town Hall, you will be greeted by the Mayor and an interpreter who will perform the civil wedding ceremony. Two witnesses will be present. At the conclusion, you will be transferred back to the resort.

Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Beach and Private Island is situated on the island of Bora Bora in the heart of the exceptional bay of Matira, with a choice of stay either beachside or on its private island. The beachside part of the resort features 55 luxury bungalows, 13 of which are spacious overwater bungalows. On the private island there are 31 luxury bungalows including a luxury beach villa. All bungalows on the private island offer a view of the lagoon and the famous Mount Otemanu.

Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Beach and Private Island's Polynesian Wedding offers the only private island in Bora Bora for a personalised Polynesian wedding. On top of the motu, offering a panoramic view of the massive shape of Mount Otemanu and the colourful sunset, enjoy a traditional Polynesian wedding ceremony in the late afternoon. Songs, dances, and prayers fill the air as you share your mutual love followed by dinner in our restaurant, champagne, Tahitian music and dances. Your Sofitel “My Bed” will be decorated with flowers upon return to your bungalow.
